Household support, not clinical care
Nonmedical help at home after a hospital stay in Ocala
Coming home from the hospital or rehab often means the medical plan is set but the household is not: the fridge is empty, laundry has piled up and family is stretched thin. RaphaCare can help with the everyday, nonmedical side of settling back in. We are not a home health agency and do not provide nursing, therapy, personal care or discharge planning.
Free, no-obligation consultation. Availability depends on your location and schedule and is confirmed individually.
Where nonmedical help fits
Your hospital team and any licensed home health provider handle clinical care: wound care, medications, therapy and monitoring. A homemaker or companion can handle groceries, simple meals, tidying, laundry, errands and company, so family time goes further.
If the discharge plan says your loved one needs hands-on help with bathing, dressing, toileting or transfers, that requires a licensed provider. We will say so rather than stretch our scope.
A practical first-week checklist
Ask the discharge team what is clinical and who is providing it. List household tasks that need covering. Note any instructions from clinicians that household helpers should know about, such as diet guidance, without sending medical records to us online. Then call to discuss timing.
Planning ahead of a discharge date
Discharge dates can move. Contact us early so we can discuss your Ocala location and preferred start; we cannot promise a specific start time until availability is confirmed.

Does RaphaCare replace home health after discharge?
No. Licensed home health covers clinical needs. We provide nonmedical household help and companionship that can work alongside it.
Can you start the day my parent comes home?
Possibly, but we cannot guarantee it. Reach out as soon as a date is likely so we can check availability.
Should I send discharge paperwork?
Please don't send medical records or diagnoses through the website or email. Share household tasks and schedule; discuss anything else by phone.
Will insurance pay for this?
Coverage is not guaranteed. We can discuss private pay, and any payer coverage or authorization must be confirmed before services.
