Nonmedical support at home

Homemaker Services in Ocala & The Villages

Homemaker services help with the household rather than hands-on care of the person. RaphaCare provides nonmedical support families can discuss directly: light chores, meal preparation, laundry and grocery errands around an agreed routine.

A practical list for a manageable household routine

Start with priorities, not a long list of every chore. A household might need dishes washed, laundry folded and a simple meal prepared; another may need groceries picked up before light tidying. Agree what can fit in the requested visit and discuss supplies, food preferences and errand arrangements beforehand.

In Marion County, distances between Ocala, Belleview and Dunnellon can affect how errands are organized. Around Wildwood, Oxford and The Villages, give the actual community and shopping destination rather than treating the whole region as one location. Every address and requested schedule needs confirmation; no separate local offices are implied.

Meal preparation does not include feeding assistance. Light housekeeping is not advertised as specialist deep cleaning, hazardous cleanup or home repair. After a return home from hospital, help with meals and chores may complement household plans, but nursing, therapy, medication management and hands-on recovery care must be arranged with properly licensed professionals.

    Registration and service boundaries

RaphaCare provides Florida AHCA-registered homemaker and companion services, not home health care. We do not provide hands-on bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, lifting or transfers, medication administration, nursing or therapy. If those services are needed, contact an appropriately licensed provider.

    Questions before arranging homemaker services

What should we discuss before groceries or meal preparation?

Discuss the shopping list, preferred foods, household supplies and how purchases will be arranged. Do not send medical diets or clinical records in a website inquiry. Feeding assistance and nutrition treatment are outside the advertised service.

Can homemaker support include personal hygiene?

No. Bathing, dressing, grooming that involves hands-on personal care, toileting and transfers are outside RaphaCare's registration. Ask an appropriately licensed provider about these needs.

How do we know what the visit will cost?

Request an individual quote based on the agreed tasks, requested schedule and location. Ask about minimum visits, travel or other applicable charges and cancellation terms before agreeing. No fixed RaphaCare rates are published here.
